After my years of experience with "cranky pants Oscar" I don't turn my back on any of them! They go from all cute and cuddly to over excited and nipping your ears for a new ear piercing that you are better off just keeping an eye on them at all times.

Which aught to be interesting since shortly after she comes home, I will be delivering our first child. We are having our son on 4-8, and I am hoping to bring her home around the beginning of March.

We can't give them back to the wild, however,
We can put a little of the wild back into their lives.

Ours likes to get tough with all the things on the counter in the kitchen and try and throw off what she can carry to the edge and drop it onto the floor then look at it and puff up her chest with pride that she got rid of all the big bad nasty things on her counter eve if it was the spoon I was using do mix up their fresh foods with. Our conures are pretty calm in personality next to our caique lol she is quite the little spitfire.

She really is adorable, and so snugly. I found out that it is going to be close to March 26th before she can come home. She is behaving like a very "spoiled" little bird. She doesn't seem to want to ween. She is still strictly on hand feeding, and shows no interest in "solid" food. This bums me out, but at the same time, I am glad because it means that when she does come home, she will be completely able to feed herself. I don't want to go through the trials and tribulations of hand feeding EVER again.
