We will be quarantining as best we can in a small home. She will not be allowed near our B&G for a min of 30 days. We have a reputable avian vet, and the baby bird will be coming home having already been tested for polyomavirus (sp?), B&F and .....hmm cant remember the other one, but it is another big one.

But I know that even with all that, it is better to be safe than sorry.

Congratulations on finding her so soon

I love Caiques, there are some at a bird place we visit and they are so mischevious, they land on the picnic tables and steal your food.

Caiques are alot of fun, as for cuddling some are into it and some are not they can be when young but it's not long and they are to busy playing some do fly by cuddles so to speak lol

Big cage, lots of toys the more toys that better I have seen a single caique laying on it's back with a toy in each foot one in the beak and yet trying to figure out away to grab one more toy. And they are very acrobatic love to roll and flip they can be very hands on birds. But do watch our for caique overload thats about when they are so hyped up they can start nipping and pinching just beacause they are so overloaded with excitment.

She has a name - Nala

I was sitting with her thinking of names out loud. I came to this name and she snuggled in a little more, and just cuddled. I took this as a sign that she wanted this name. She has changed SO much in just a week!
