Default runny nose

My 20 year old alexandrine has had wet marks around her nostrils for the second time in four or five days. She eats well and droppings are normal. She's been nesting lately in the papers on the bottom of her cage, often hides underneath them.
I'm going to give her supplements to boost her immune system and raise the humidity level in the room, the air is a bit dry. I'm also going to try to change the papers more often (I usually do once a day) because she might have inhaled some dust or something while hiding. If the problem persists I'm going to contact her vet. (it's a four hour drive there so don't want to stress her if it's not necessary. All the other closer vets aren't avian). Does anyone have any tips? There isn't a lot of discharge and it's been at least three days since the other time I noticed it.

We have two good vets around, actually, if you want to save yourself the 4h drive...

Dr Cook (Frank, not THE Dr Cook, but he'll do! ) works at two clinics, Riverview Animal Hospital @387-4015 and the Moncton Animal Hospital @857-4271. He's seen Tango and Mav and he is really great with them.

Also, Dr Marlene Gallon... She's always away when I need a vet, so I've never met her, but she's the one that Joanne (HealthyBird) will bring her birds too... She's at the Mountain road Animal Hospital @382-0061.

Lemme know if you need anything, I'm not that far away!

You still have my email, right?
